Local Author Inquiries

Kathy’s Corner Shop, at 100 S Main Street in North East, has been working with local authors for many years and stocks quite a variety in her store. Kathy’s also hosts frequent book signings. We believe in cooperation over competition with the other Main Street businesses, and will not be competing with Kathy's on this.

The policy of Decoy Bookstore is this: we will only work with an extremely small and selective group of authors with whom we have personal relationships, and only if we can purchase their work outright at wholesale prices and they do not use AI in any way.

Due to our extremely small size, we cannot accommodate additional local authors, nor will we host book signings.

Returns of new, unread, re-sellable merchandise only; bargain books are final sale. Must have receipt dated within 30 days of sale.

Shipping Policy

We do not ship at the present time. You can complete your purchase of our inventory online and then pick up in our store during regular open hours. Bookshop.org purchases are fulfilled by Bookshop.
